Airway and ECG Review Course focuses on lecture demonstration and hands on practice of basic & advanced airway skills and recognition of arrest and peri-arrest rhythms. This course is highly recommended as a pre-course option for the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course.

Airway Management course is a unique course designed to give students a chance to learn, practice, and demonstrate their ability in applying many airway skills used in resuscitation. Students increase their awareness of various airway products and skills required.

ECG course will provide the students a thorough understanding of the components of the ECG waveform, recognition and interpretation of cardiac rhythms and diagnosing abnormal conditions using ECG patterns. Throughout the course, you will be provided self-assessment ECGs to practice your diagnostic skills.

Course Objectives:

On completion of the course, the students will be able to:

• Recognize an obstructed Airway
• Use Oropharyngeal Airway (OPA) & Nasopharyngeal Airway (NPA) devices in managing airway
• Use bag mask for ventilation
• Use of Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA), Combitube, Laryngeal Tube & ET tube
• Intubate a patient using Laryngoscope
• Recognize peri-arrest rhythms
• Recognize Cardiac arrest rhythms
• Understand and perform defibrillation
• The practicalities of making an ECG trace
• A solid system for interpreting ECGs

This course is a tollgate for aspirants looking for Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course. This is a Basic (Must to Know) information which every Doctor OR Nurse should be aware off.
