About Dr. Nikhil Parikh

Dr. Nikhil Parikh has over 27-years of experience as a cardiac practitioner. Dr. Parikh has performed over 25000 diagnostic angiographies, 1500 balloon valvuloplasties, and 7000 coronary angioplasties and over 250 peripheral angioplasties. He was the 1st person in the state to implant a stent. He has also performed more than 200 pediatric interventions including closure of PDA and ASD by device (& was the first doctor in Rajasthan to perform device closure therapy). Dr. Nikhil Parikh has performed more than 900 pacemaker implantation (Single and Dual Chamber, AICD, CRT) and is also an expert in Embolization Therapy (Renal and Bronchial Artery). He is also performing peripheral angioplasties (Renal, Subclavian, Carotid, and Lower Limb Arteries)

Passionate about teaching too, he is one of the very few doctors dedicated to guide and impart medical education to budding cardiologists and physicians, His contributions to cardiology education in the state at various positions include – Graduate and Post Graduate Teacher at RNT Medical College, Udaipur, Graduate and Post Graduate Teacher in GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, Post Graduate Teacher for ONB Medicine Students at SDM Hospital, Jaipur. He was also a Teacher and Guide for DNB students in Cardiology at SDM Hospital, Jaipur, since July 2003. He has organized and conducted more than 500 CME’s on various aspects of Cardiology all over the state of Rajasthan & Hariyana.

An eminent personality in the field of cardiac sciences, Dr. Nikhil Parikh has been a principal investigator for various trials with companies such as- Aventis, jhonson & aborts vascular etc. Dr. Parikh holds the distinction of being faculty at more than 15 international conferences all over the globe and is regularly invited to chair sessions at various national and international conferences and workshops.

He has to his credit over hundred abstracts, presentations and original papers. He is the recipient of the prestigious Sri. Rameshwer Sharma University Gold Medal 1984.

Professional Qualification Dr. Nikhil Parikh obtained his MD(Internal Medicine) From RNT Medical College, Jaipur and DM(Cardiology) from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, India, Subsequently, he did his advanced training in interventional Cardiology from, premier hospital in India like – GM pant Hospital, New Delhi, Jaslok Hospital Bombay and Medical Hospital Hyderabad.
