About Dr. Vaibhav Agnihotri

Dr. Vaibhav Agnihotri is a Consultant pediatrician and a neonatologist at the Balaji Soni Hospital Bagru Jaipur.

He started his journey after graduating (MBBS) from the prestigious DR BR AMBEDKAR MEDICAL COLLEGE, Bangalore, and DCH from JJMC Davangere (one of the largest pediatric center in Karnataka). He further completed his DNB paediatrics from the esteemed steel authority of India hospital in bokaro Jharkhand. He has also secured a degree in neonatal and pediatric nutrition and brain growth development, from the worlds most advanced paediatric centeres ie boston medical centre and john Hopkins medical centre USA. Thereafter he has worked in various paediatric ICU and NICU in India. He has completed his fellowship in neonatology from Neoclinic hospital Jaipur ( largest nicu of Rajasthan) and trained in handling and managing a Level -III NICU with ventilator’s, High frequency ventilator’s, iNO, therapeutic hypothermia, different types of CPAP, 24 hours arterial blood gas, ,growth and development clinics, follow up and occupational therapy units, Competent in pediatric and neonatal resuscitation as well as other procedures such as intravenous line placement, UAC/UVC insertion, PICC line, Lumbar puncture, ventricular tapping, Bone marrow aspiration, abdominal paracentesis, Total parenteral nutrition(preparation and maintenance), surfactant administration, INSURE, exchange transfusion, confident in intubation, management of critically ill babies on ventilators, pleural tapping and chest tube insertion

Dr. Agnihotri has vast experience of working in government and corporate hospitals since the last 8 years, and is proficient in diagnosis and treatment of all types of neonatal and childhood illness, with special interest in nutrition, immunization, growth and development, and counseling to inculcate healthy habits in children since childhood to prevent various diseases in the future.

Dr. Agnihotri has presented various papers on complex pediatric diseases in national and international conferences
